  • Preparation of hybrid materials based on carbon nanoforms (CNF: fullerene, nanotubes, nanohorns) in combination with ionic liquids and/or metal nanoparticles as heterogeneous catalysts in C-C bond forming, alcohol oxidation, CO2 fixation and others ecosustainable processes
  • Development of new synthetic protocols for the functionalization of CNF

Laboratory for synthesis endowed with equipment able to work even under inert atmosphere and at temperatures down to -40°C. Equipment for purification and isolation of intermediates and final materials. All the common equipments and instrumentation for the characterization of intermediates and final materials.

Custom synthesis of organic intermediates (even stereoselective), synthesis of catalysts based on ionic liquids, carbon nanoforms and metal nanoparticles. Preparation of metal scavengers and antifouling materials.
