Active Research fields
The first area concerns the compact representation of data structures for text indexing and string algorithms. This area includes the study of a compression algorithm with antidictionaries.
Another line concerns the study of the Sturmian graph of a directive sequence $[a_0, \ cdots, a_s] $, $ G ([a_0, \ cdots, a_s]) $ and its combinatorial properties.
A final research line concerns Bioinformatics and in particular the alignment-free measures.
