Collaborations
Alessandra De Paola is member of the Node at University of Palermo of the CINI (Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale di Informatica) Cyber Security, and Smart Cities and Communities National Labs.
Active research
Head of the Adaptive Intelligence Laboratory which focuses on the design of complex systems in which multiple heterogeneous agents cooperate, enabling the emergence of intelligent behaviors based on dynamic and adaptive interaction patterns, capable of autonomously reacting to unexpected changes in the context. The research includes adaptive ensemble learning schemes, concept drift management and detection algorithms, and self-reasoning models, for centralized and distributed architectures.
Services delivered under the right of third parties
Analysis and design of adaptive AI algorithms for complex systems, in multiple scenarios including cybersecurity, ambient intelligence, and intelligent environments.
