The Research team on “Volcanic fluid geochemistry” performs research aiming at understanding dynamics and behaviour of active volcanic systems. Research aims at developing new techniques for real-time monitoring of volcanic gas composition. The research team manages a permanent network for volcanic gas monitoring at several volcanoes worldwide
