The exhibition of two video installations by Bill Viola, a contemporary artist considered the father of the Electronic Renaissance, is an opportunity to reflect on the Sicilian Renaissance. The contribution analyzes the relationship between ancient and modern in sculptural works by Domenico Gagini through the theme of water and purification, the theme of the exhibition. Works of decorative art in coral and silk are also analyzed, always linked to the lustral theme
