Abstract
The species composition and structure of photophilic algal community and macroalgal epiphytic assemblages on leaves of Posidonia oceanica, as well as the density and leaf biometry of the seagrass, were studied in the shallow hydrothermal vents of the Eolian Islands (Thyrrenian sea).
