Abstract
The aim of this essay is to reconstruct Pasolini's intellectual journey starting from the three fundamental places that marked it: Casarsa, Bologna, and Rome. The intense frames of the 1974 television documentary "La forma della città " serve as a guide, in which it is possible to trace that comparison of forms that originates from the teachings of Roberto Longhi.
