Abstract

Designing Museum Experiences: Narratives, Interaction and Digital Transition explores how design redefines the contemporary museum as a dynamic space for learning, participation, and experience. The volume investigates the role of design in shaping communicative, interactive, and inclusive environments, capable of responding to the challenges of digital transition. Through a design research perspective, it examines visitor-centered approaches, spatial storytelling, and the integration of technologies such as virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI), and the metaverse, alongside traditional analogue tools. The study highlights how design mediates between people, space, and technology, generating new forms of cultural communication and engagement.
