La ricezione di Inferno VIII nella produzione musicale di Caparezza

Abstract
This work aims to understand the reasons why Canto VIII of Inferno may have influenced an extravagant figure of contemporary Italian music such as the rapper Caparezza. After a brief analysis of the role of music in the Comedy, the singer-songwriter's production is examined Apulian, with reference to two albums: Habemus Capa, 2 in which it is possible to identify an attention towards the structural aspects of Comedy, and Museica, That contains the song Argenti vive, a rewriting of the song, in response to Dante. The analysis will be built starting from the stylistic questions, raised below of a close reading of Inferno VIII and the text of Argenti vive. The method fits in the wake of creative reception studies.
