Dear MIDI Students,

We are pleased to inform you that, within the activities of the FORTHEM Alliance, the University of Agder has opened the call for participation in Democracy Week, taking place from May 1 to May 5, 2026. This initiative aims to promote and strengthen the values of democracy, human rights, and freedom of expression within the university community.

The event is open to UniPa students and will be connected to the European Conference on Democracy and Human Rights, scheduled for May 5, 2026, in Kristiansand, Norway.

Students can apply to participate in person with a travel grant (up to 5 students will be selected) and also propose activities to be carried out on their campus during Democracy Week.

The FORTHEM contribution is reserved for students participating in person at the University of Agder. Selection will be based on the motivation letter evaluated by the University of Agder.
