Research topic: Hurwitz spaces parametrizing coverings of curves with fixed monodromy group and Siegel modular varieties. The goal is to study the modular properties of the Hurwitz spaces. With the help of the Prym-Tyurin morphisms it is aimed to prove the unirationality of some Siegel modular varieties with small invariants.
