Active Research fields

Study of compact objects (black holes and neutron stars), which are formed at the end of natural evolution of stars, both from the observational point of view (through the spectral analysis and timing techniques) and from a theoretical modeling point of view. The research aims to increase our knowledge of the behavior of matter under extreme physical conditions due to the huge gravitational (where relativistic effects become relevant) and magnetic fields.
