Abstract
In the framework of the European Year of Volunteering 2011, The purpose of this paper is to show some trends about actual and innovative schemes to build long-term partnerships between civil society organisations operating in the area of volunteering in the South of Italy. The voluntary sector in Sicily is also analyzed.
