Annual welcome meeting A.S.CENT.
On 26th March, the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations of the University of Palermo hosted the annual welcome meeting of A.S.CENT. – the Centre for Advanced Studies at the University of Palermo – in the DEMS room.
The visiting fellows, from universities all over the world, were welcomed by Prof. Antonello Miranda, Director of the Centre, and Prof. Fabio Mazzola, Vice-Rector for Education and Internationalisation.
The Centre promotes research and the knowledge potential within the University of Palermo by developing international contacts, hosting, for medium- to long-term periods, scholars from around the world who have distinguished themselves through scientific excellence and international renown (Visiting Fellows and Senior Visiting Fellows). This enables the creation of partnerships with universities and research bodies, the promotion of interdisciplinary and systemic studies and research, technology transfer, the development and dissemination of innovation, as well as the establishment and organisation of summer schools and other forms of advanced training.
