Abstract
In the current programming period (2007-2013), in the context of Sicilian RDP (Rural Development Plan), the measure 214 1 / B promotes the organic cultivation method. In this paper, starting from the intervention of the public operator in the organic sector, it has been verified the economic convenience to adopt this method of cultivation in some hilly areas of the province of Palermo, where there are many cereal and fodder production farms.
