Overview:

Artificial intelligence (AI)-based intelligent medical systems are transforming health care by improving diagnostic accuracy, personalizing treatment, and advancing treatments in the precision medicine domain. The integration of AI algorithms into the medical domain plays an increasingly central role within this domain due to the increasingly high reliability of these approaches. In fact, These algorithms reduce analysis time by supporting physicians in the evaluation of biomedical data, such as images. In fact, in this research domain, biomedical image processing has allowed the development of approaches based on segmentation tasks, in the correction of artifacts and in recent years in the 3D reconstruction of examined tissues; recently also the development of generative algorithms has taken hold for the synthesis of CT, MRI or PET images from patient assays. Finally, the development of intelligent decision-making systems to support diagnosis play a key role in the automatization and standardization of trials and data elaboration.

Instructions for authors:

Manuscripts must be written (4 pages maximum, all included) in English and follow the instructions in the Manuscript Formatting and Templates page given in AIxDKE 2024 website (https://www.aixdke.org/submission) at the “Submission” section.
Papers must be original and not be submitted to or accepted by any other conference or journal.
Only electronic submission will be accepted. Technical paper authors MUST submit their manuscripts through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/cfp/AIxDKE2024).
Manuscripts may only be submitted in PDF format. Each paper will be peer-reviewed.
Papers submitted to the workshops for peer review should consist of new unpublished work and papers accepted to the workshops will be published in the workshops section of the proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press.
The authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference (virtually or in presence).
Every paper accepted MUST have attached to it at least one registration at the full member/nonmember rate. Thus, for a paper for which all authors are students, one student author will be required to register at the full registration rate.
Authors are encouraged to submit an abstract (before the abstract submission deadline) and update the abstract to a full paper before the deadline of full paper submission.
