Hectoris spolium. (Sen. Troad. 990). Una controversa rappresentazione di Ecuba nelle Troiane di Seneca

Abstract

In the invective that Hecuba addresses to Ulysses in Troad. 990-991 Leo was the first to judge the expression Hectoris spolium feret / qui tulit Achillis? interpolated. Retracing the history of the interpretation, the paper considers the verses authentic: they offer a brilliant line of the queen, who ironically defines herself as Hectoris spolium.
