Abstract
Starting from a brief analysis of the international and EU context, the characteristics of the Italian vineyard landscape were first analyzed (vineyard area, the share of DOC and DOCG wine areas in the regional wine grape area, wine and must production data, etc.). Then, through the development of an economic and statistical dossier, the impact of the new CMO for wine on the regional territory was assessed.
