Ancient and rare texts The ancient donations of the Università degli studi di Palermo Virtual exhibition, available at <http://exhibit.unipa.it>, born as part of the digitization and preservation project launched in 2018, the year of Palermo "Italian Capital of Culture", aiming at re-evaluate and make available to users some significant examples among the thousands of ancient printed texts of the University libraries.Among the funds owned in thirteen libraries of the University, the project made it possible to recover and fully catalogue the Castagna and Moncada Funds, kept in the first Section of the Interdepartmental Library of Humanities, the Physics collection managed by the Astronomical Observatory and the ancient Fund of Juridical Sciences. |
