Master of Arts in International Relations, Program in International Studies Dear Students, the MAIR faculty is pleased to invite you to attend the lecture of Professor Pamela Ballinger, Fred Cuny Chair in the History of Human Rights at the University of Michigan, on Friday December, 4th, 2020, 2:00 PM. Professor Ballinger will held a seminar on her last book, The World Refugees Made. Decolonization and the Foundation of Postwar Italy, in which she "explores Italy's remaking in light of the loss of a wide range of territorial possessions-colonies, protectorates, and provinces-in Africa and the Balkans, the repatriation of Italian nationals from those territories, and the integration of these "national refugees" into a country devastated by war and overwhelmed by foreign displaced persons from Eastern Europe. Post-World War II Italy served as an important laboratory, in which categories differentiating foreign refugees (who had crossed national boundaries) from national refugees (those who presumably did not) were debated, refined, and consolidated."

Each of the three rounds of discussion will provide an in-depth analysis of the reciprocal opportunities for trade and investment to strengthen the dialogue between Italy, the EU, and the ASEAN countries.

The Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, further to the increased transmission of COVID-19 in our region, informs all students that all the didactic activities in presence have been suspended for the entire first semester.

Dear Students,
The international trade curriculum is about to begin! I strongly recommend you to enrol to the single subject through the student page so you will receive promptly any academic and logistic information.

If you are not able yet to have access to the Unipa student page, make you sure duly in advance that you have access at the Teams room of each subject.

In particular, the International Trade Law classroom, that will start on next 13th October, will be held NOT in presence but online during the entire week: this due to the afternoon graduation ceremonies in the venue of the classes.

The curriculum International Studies of the M.A. in International Relations offers students the opportunity to study the complexities of the international context and to understand the global political system and its organization, changes, and challenges.

 

The M.A. in International Trade (MAIT) offers students from all over the world the unique opportunity of studying the fundamental dynamics of international business from diverse and multidisciplinary points of view.
